I started my blog because I wanted to create something. My whole life, I’ve craved creativity and craft. I love making things- writing, especially. I hope above all else, my blog can inspire you to grab a paintbrush, grab a thread and needle, grab a camera, or grab a guitar. I hope you can be inspired to create something, whatever you want. Making art is the most important thing that we can do for ourselves, no matter the outcome. Do something, make something. Do it badly, do it tired, do it scared, but do it. Make something, even if it’s bad, especially if it’s bad. Have fun. It’s the most we can do. Make art. Make bad art. Dance off-beat. Play drums off-key. Mix orange and black paint when you’re trying to make brown. Sew two pant legs together. As long as you do something. That’s how you stay alive. It’s how I stay alive.
